Derrick Zuber showed a deep passion for music from an early age. From his involvement in school bands, to talent show acts, to his ongoing involvement in worship music in the church, Derrick has shown that music is in his veins. He grew up in Toronto Canada, but now resides in Oshawa Ontario and has played guitar for such artists as Juno nominee Blaise Pascal, Jason Grills and Marion Drexler.

His influences are diverse, ranging from country, including artists like Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, and Blue Rodeo; to rock and blues, with artists such as Eric Clapton, John Fogerty and the Beatles.

Derrick Zuber’s first album, Like A Song, illustrates catchy, lyrical vocals that pull you into the songs. The songs have a country flare, and tell you a story that is familiar to anyone who has ever been in love, whether they kept it or lost it.

Road Less Travelled, Derrick’s second studio release picks up where Like A Song leaves off. It’s catchy, roots based and adds a breadth to Derrick’s music that time and life experiences bring.

All of this combined with Derrick’s use of the guitar, bass, mandolin, and banjo create a sonic landscape that is both eclectic and tastefully combined.
