In the fall of 2016 after seeing James perform with his band the James Clark

Institute (JCI) at a local Toronto club David was so impressed with James’

songwriting and level of musicianship that he approached James with the

idea of creating a musical duo with the idea of performing James’ great

original songs together. James agreed and after painstakingly trying to come

up with the perfect name the James Clark and David Hayes duo was born.

Established Toronto based singer/songwriter/musician James Clark

confronts the ghosts of his past and spins them into catchy, witty pop rock

songs. Under the guise of The James Clark Institute, his latest release,

“Yesterday’s Misadventures” was produced by Canadian iconic musician,

Moe Berg (The Pursuit Of Happiness). The album continues to receive

airplay and has charted across Canada as well as in Spain and The U.K.

David Hayes is a guitarist, producer, songwriter and music composer

operating out of Red Door Studios, his own recording facility in the beautiful

beaches area in the east end of Toronto ON.

His music can be heard on various tv shows such as Wahlburgers, Salvage

Dogs, Wicked Tuna.
